Interpreting community enterprises’ ability to survive in depleted contexts through the Humane Entrepreneurship lens: evidence from Italian rural areas

Purpose Doing business in depleted contexts requires the adoption of an unconventional strategic orientation based on involvement local community and driven by attainment economic, environmental social goals. Previous studies have explored specific nature enterprises (CEs); notwithstanding, little attention has been paid to understanding posture adopted entrepreneurs overcome difficulties make up. In this vein, study aims investigate how CEs operating manage survive, successfully achieving multiple – conflicting Design/methodology/approach The authors Humane Entrepreneurship (HumEnt) framework as a form institutional entrepreneurship where resources are leveraged evolve context.
